Drusilla's head tilts and she pauses. "I hear a kitty cat," she says. "A sleek and pretty thing."

OOC: Come and play! Feel free to pick a thread and interact, but Tara's online right now, and Cam's in slow-play due to time zone issues.

*takes a few cautious steps closer, dodging the limp body of a doll* Mrrrrrrr meow meow mew rrrrrrrr.

Translation: If you can understand me, I'd like to see if your cards can help me. If you cannot, I'll leave you to your guests and games.

"Here kitty, kitty, kitty," says Drusilla. "Come and play."

*edges closer to the table, eyes very wide and cautious. With a quick leap, he's balanced on the edge, and leans down to nudge a facedown card* Mmmmmrrrrrrr...

Drusilla laughs and scratches behind the cat's ears. "Silly kitty," she says. "You'd scratch at my eyes, and we can't have that."

OOC: Do you have something specific you want the cards to say? Or are you good with whatever? If you want them to say something specific, feel free to flip them over yourself.

*tolerates Drusilla's touch for a moment* Mrrrrrrow.

*looks at the cards, meows loudly*

Translation: If these cards hold any truth or hint of truth, please answer me this--is there anything I can actively do to help lift this curse?

OOC: I have no knowledge of Tarot, but if Dru could flip over an appropriate card or two to tell him 'be patient, things will work out, everything will come around', that'd be great.

OOC: Must sleep. And catch up on a couple of things first. I'll do this for you tomorrow, though.

Drusilla laughs delightedly and flips over the first of three cards lying in a row. "Your past?" The Fool appears. "It seems you didn't think, and that brought you all sorts of new things, such as catnip and mice."

She pours a saucer of cream for the cat and puts it down on the table.

*takes a couple of licks at the cream, cat-glowering at the Fool card* Rrrrrowwwwwwwrrrrrr.

Translation: I resent that remark greatly, but will admit that it's somewhat correct. I've already vowed never to go into Special Collections again. Now what?

OOC: Or keep it here between Dru and Sark. Your call. Refresh my memory--Sark's fairly sociopathic, right?

OOC: Sark's wanting advice in regards to his curse, so he's focusing on Dru, though Tara might be helpful too. And yes--though this is teenage!Sark and not the full-blown assassin/terrorist of the show, Julian has issues and almost no conscience.

OOC: Oh, good. It means she likes him more then!

OOC: Okay, cool. I have three cards that will work for what Sark wants in a reading. Also, question: How does Sark know Dru's a vampire?

OOC: Hadn't thought of that. *facepalm* Well, given that he's a sneaky spy, he might have found out from Buffy or Willow or an overheard random conversation. And cats sense things. Dru smells odd, and she's cold...and cats appreciate and respect fellow predators.
