Drusilla slept restlessly, tossing and turning and twisting. She heard a loud rumbling, thunder in the distance, on the horizon, louder and louder and crashing toward her.



ETA - OOC: Yes, Spike is a retired character. He was brought back for this one scene with special permission from the game's admins, who are seriously wonderful for allowing us to do this.

And now Dru's out of the game herself. It's been so much fun playing her, but I didn't have the time to keep her up as she really deserved, so Spike and I gave her the best sendoff we could think of. Thanks for all the great times.

"There are other parties to attend," said Drusilla, tapping her index finger against Spike's cheek. "Balls to dance at and pretty gowns to wear and drag their hems through blood--and entrails to tie into bows."

She pulled her cell phone out of her handbag and flipped it open. "But we mustn't forget to send Angel his invitation."

She quickly dialed his number and left him a message. "There," said Drusilla, satisfied. "But we mustn't let them know the white horse hasn't been reined and broken."

Spike grinned and threw his leg over the motorcycle and started it up.

"Grab on tight love. We've got a town to paint red."

Drusilla wrapped her arms tightly 'round Spike's waist and laughed maniacally as they roared off into the night.
